It's that time of year... Black Friday! Beckie and I have our annual tradition of going shopping. This year, Wal Mart's movie deals started at midnight! So we braved the crowds and set out. It was the most terrible Black Friday experience I've had. Everyone was packed around the DVDs like sardines. I couldn't see the movies or move my body an inch in any direction, and I was starting to feel a bit of anxiety. I didn't care about the movies anymore. I just wanted to get out of there. After we made our Wal Mart purchases, we had 3 hours to kill before Target opened, so we went home and played Super Mario! We passed 5 levels (1 level twice) only to find out it doesn't save any of your work until you beat the castle. We were a bit upset when we found out. Then we headed off Target for their 4 am opening. We got everything we needed there, including hat/glove combo for my nephew who's sporting them fabulously. We waited in a forever long line for an hour-ish. We got home at 6 am. I talked to my Mom for an hour, who had gotten up to go to work, and then I went to bed at 7 am. I slept until noon, but woke up about every hour due to a text message, a phone call, being hot, and a screaming child... twice. I couldn't sleep anymore. I just had to get up and face the turmoil caused by rambunctious nieces and nephews.

Ethan had to get his "5-year-old shots" today. On their way back from the Doctor's office, they took a pit-stop to buy Cheez-its. They came home with the Scrabble Cheez-its, and I found a "Q!" Any day that I find a "Q" anything is a happy day. Why don't they have more? When you do find one, it's even a higher quality because all the effort that would have gone into making thousands of that letter all went into the one "Q" that they produced. Yup. That's how it is.
Reports said today was going to be a HUGE blizzard. Biggest one Utah's seen... EVER! I had been debating coming home to Sandy today so because of this big storm that was on it's way, I had to make my decision real fast. In my packing haste, I threw a lot more clothes than needed into my bag, I left my phone charger on my shelf, and I forgot to get my turkey out of the freezer!
My keys went missing! I got home Sunday night and started putting some of my stuff away. I put my sweater back in my sweater box and thought to myself, "Self, you should check to make sure nothing else fell in the box. Nah." Then I shoved it back under my bed. The next morning, I was searching frantically for my keys. I had to go to work! So I grabbed my spare key, ran out the door, and hoped my roommates didn't lock the door!
I woke up this morning to a snow covered world. I got a ride to church and didn't have to use my car until later when I went to go Visiting Teaching. I was running a little late and had to scrape my car. My scraper is in my trunk somewhere.... I think. My trunk doesn't have a light in it, so I couldn't find it. I COULD find my windshield wiper blade (in it's carton waiting for someone to replace it for me), and so I used my windshield wiper carton to scrape the ice off my car. Didn't work too well. Good thing my defroster works!!
Christmas is an awesome time of the year. I love Christmas! I love Christmas decorations! I love Christmas decorations that you make yourself! I made this wreath last year and it's great. Last year for Christmas decor, I also had a TON of ornaments hanging from the ceiling. I think all the pictures of how cool it was were deleted though!
I was so tired today. After 3.5 hours of sleep, I was barely hanging on. Work was surprisingly slow, so I offered to go home early if they needed any volunteers. They had me do call-outs instead! Ugh. I just wanted to go home and sleep, but they wouldn't let me! When I got home from work, I turned the TV on to relax and snooze. Lo and behold.... the Snorks were on!!!! I haven't seen this show forever and no one I talk to has ever heard of it! This definitely made my day!

Angela and I went to The Patroni's Semi-Final Ultimate Frisbee game. The team they played were animals! and we're pretty sure the frisbee was lined with magnets.... as were their hands! Because Angela and I are the coolest people ever, we bought their favorite Little Debbie treats and paid the fellas a visit after their game. Wow they're lucky to have friends like us!
Had the day off of work! Nice. Surprisingly, I was running around doing a lot of stuff. I did all my laundry and washed my sheets. I didn't have time to make my bed, but I had to leave! I went to Julienne's bridal shower and had a festive little time. It took me an hour to drive home, so I had a lot of time to sit and think. I thought about lots of stuff. I thought about how I was real tired and still had to make my bed. I got home, and saw this beautiful sight! Nice, tightly made bed. Thanks Bed Fairy!
I was just buying nailpolish with K-Ro and Moe when my manager called me. "You've been such a good employee, we just wanna reward you and let you know you're appreciated. We have 4 tickets to the Jazz game tonight. Do you wanna go and bring 3 of your friends?"
Drove out to Salt Lake with my Mama. We went to a little boutique and talked with the sweetest gay guys who were throwing out compliments to me. I loved it! We went to a fashion show that Julienne was in. We went to Panda Express. I got the Kobari Beef, which was super delicious, but there were mushroom halves in it. I tried a mushroom. I popped it in, took a couple chews, and promptly spit it out. Still don't like the mushrooms.

Another fabulous day off work! Started the morning off by going running with Kalyn. After we got ready, we went out to buy my rockin' nailpolishes! They're super sparkly. My favorite, that is on my fingernails right now, is called Sparklicious. On my toes, is Extra-va-vaganza! After our outing, we went up to campus, and look what we found in the children's section at the library! Is he dead? No. He's just sleeping, but I was laughing soo hard when we stumbled across this. Come on kid... at least find a comfortable couch or chair! The floor?? Amateur.
Quite frankly, this was not a super exciting day. I made it to K-Ro's facebook status though! Awesome.
